This is such a stunning summer dress suit from American designer Bill Blass. The suit includes a strawberry pinkish red Spring/Summer weight wool crepe dress with a matching embroidered collarless, open front coat. We especially love the beautiful embroidered flower along the side of the jacket that pops in shades of black and pale yellow.

The jacket is structured with shoulder pads and there are nice darts along the bodice. The short sleeve dress has a sheath style silhouette with a box seam detail along the bust. There is a back metal zipper down the center seam with a hook and eye for closure. The coat is fully lined and is open in front with no closures. 

This would make a great wedding guest outfit or you can wear it to any special dressier day event. Pair it with the right accessories and this would be a great evening ensemble as well!

The Bill Blass and Saks Fifth Avenue labels are found in both of the pieces. Made in USA. The dress is labeled a size 10 and the jacket is labeled a size 8. We estimate this would best fit a modern day US size 8/10 as well. Please refer to the measurements when determining fit.
